Be Prepared for your Notary Appointment Please read this important information prior to your appointment
At South Shore Notary, our commissioned notary public staff are ready to help you get your business and/or personal documents notarized quickly and efficiently. Notaries will examine all documents provided. There must be NO alterations or blank lines on the document.
All signing parties must have a valid, government issued photo ID. We accept Passports, State ID's, and Driver's Licenses.
Be sure to bring all of the documents that need to be notarized, not just the signature page(s). Document printing may be available with advanced notice.
Documents should be complete in full and ready for signature. The only section(s) left blank should be signatures and the Notarial area.
If you need legal advice, please consult an attorney. Our notary publics are prohibited from helping you to prepare, complete, or understand any legal documents.
Some documents may require signature witnesses in addition to notarization. Please contact us prior to your visit to determine if we can provide additional signature witnesses for you. This service is an additional fee. You are also welcome to bring your own witness(es) with you.
The Notary will determine and verify the competency and willingness of all parties signing said document(s). No documents will be signed under duress or by force.The Notary will sign their name to all areas that are required, and the document date(s) shall not be later than the date of actual notarization.

We are located at: Cornerstone Executive Suite 800 Hingham Street Suite 200N Rockland, MA 02370 The parking lot entrance is located on Reservoir Park Drive. Please enter the main entrance located at the back of the Cornerstone building and come up to the second floor. Suite 200N is on your left at the top of the stairs. COVID Protocol: Please wait in your car until we text you. Once you receive our text, please make your way to Suite 200N and have a seat in the lobby. Our Notary will meet you there.
